I have been working in the Costume industry for over a decade and have worked in various roles across Costume and Wardrobe departments. Although I have predominantly worked as a Costume Maker in most recent years, I often dive back into backstage work and show set up when opportunities arise.

Throughout the construction process, I am here to advise on every detail, such as fabrics, budget and your custom requirements. I produce patterns and samples from scratch to ensure the garments meet your specifications. Everything I create is built to last, whether it be for a long Theatre run or multiple seasons at a holiday park. I have extensive knowledge in performance needs including dance, movement requirements and costumes needing to be quick change.

Costume Supervising
This role involves sourcing and styling costumes to create a cohesive look for a character or team within a show or performance. It sometimes overlaps with costume making work with some items needing to be made and some sourced to create the desired look within certain budgets. I am experienced in supervising full theatre shows as well as smaller entertainment teams.
Seamster for hire
I offer my services as an on site seamster for a variety of productions and can provide my own machines, kit and supplies to get the work done. I can fit and alter costumes and supplied garments with precision and without cutting so they can be altered back for future use.

Backstage Work
Over the years, I have worked on multiple shows backstage as a dresser or providing costume maintenance. This entails making sure the costumes are laundered and repaired to ensure they are looking their best throughout the run of shows. This work has included various Theatre shows, Pantomimes and concerts for the likes of Madonna, Coldplay, Rod Stewart and Blue amongst others.
